In 1939, Mother Aloysius and Mother Emmanuel traveled to Indianapolis to teach the community how to keep the regular observance. Mother Agnes of the present Des Plaines Carmel was then prioress of Indianapolis. the following pictures were taken during that time, cementing the friendship between our two Carmels.
